Koko Samoa Drinking Chocolate Block

Our commitment to excellence ensures that every cup of our Koko Samoa is a pure and enjoyable experience. Like the pods, our blocks are 100% pure ground cacao paste. This is raw dark chocolate so is bitter to the taste. This would normally be used to make drinking koko in bulk, or used as an ingredient for a dish like Samoan Cocoa Rice.

Weight: 180 g

A milder taste profile which includes fruity, nutty, floral, and spicy notes. Samoan cacao often also contains a pleasant bitterness that underlines the cacao's uniqueness.

*Because our product is untempered, it can develop bloom. This is when cocoa butter separates from the cacao liquor and can look like a white or brown buildup on the surface of the koko.

This is normal for untempered chocolate and is still completely safe to consume.

*May contain traces of cocoa husk and cocoa nibs.
