Shipping policy

LOCAL NEW ZELAND

We ship nationwide in New Zealand using NZ Post - Aramex - Castle Parcels - Post Haste. All shipping charges are calculated automatically at checkout and estimated based on location, weight, and parcel size.

INTERNATIONAL

We ship internationally using DHL Express & NZ Post International.  

CUSTOMS, TAXES, DUTIES, FEES, TARIFFS 

When a package is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees/tariffs imposed by the destination country. Buyers are responsible for all import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees/tariffs that may be charged on arrival in their home country. As a seller, we are expected to be in compliance with the import laws and regulations of the countries we ship to. This includes accurately representing the contents of your package. 

  • Orders to Australia over $1000 AUD will be subject to customs duties and taxes. You as the recipient will be liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by Australian customs. If you refuse your delivery, you are responsible for the original delivery charges, any applicable tax and duties charges and the cost of returning the package.
  • All orders to the United States are subject to a 15% tariff on arrival. Please note that payment of this tariff is the responsibility of the buyer.   
  • Aunty Tommy's ships your package DDU, “duties and taxes unpaid”, and does not collect the VAT, duties and/or taxes, and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If you do incur these additional charges, they must be rendered in order for your package to clear customs.
  • For more information regarding your country’s custom policies, please contact your local customs office before placing your order. We will not grant a refund if you refuse an import fee. Please note: these customs charges can also cause delays.

SHIPPING TIMEFRAMES

Typically all orders are packed and fulfilled from our location in Auckland within 1-2 days of receiving order confirmation. All goods are sent with a Track and Trace link. 

Local New Zealand: 2-3 working days.

International: As delivery timeframes are different, we cannot provide an accurate estimate. However, as a guide please allow up to 1 week as DHL delivery timeframes for each country differs.
